Paychecks SHRINK
Hmm. This isn't good.
I have to keep hoping the Iceland check doesn't post (or maybe that it has, long ago?). I have $175 to play with until NEXT Friday, and $100 of that is going immediately to George.
So, if you recall, I was waiting for about 11 days worth of Sony pay. I make $14/hour, and frankly I only am clocked in about 7 hours on an average day. The day after Memorial Day I think I only worked about 6 hours, and I've split 30 minutes early a few times as well.
Anyway, I wound up with $747. That I had been waiting for since I was in JAPAN. Bummer it wasn't a little more.
I also didn't realize I was down under $200 even AFTER my father had loaned me some money.
Let's take a look at the rest of what's going on.
MORE account tracking since the last post:
An internet bill, my storage bill, more train tickets, and lunch. Boy, it sure adds up.
Well, off to pay back my $100 Japan debt. I'm sure my father and brother can wait until next Friday for me to start paying them back. *sigh* And as for the $1800 to the ex.... yeeeeesh.
Once I get a part in the mail, I'll be putting up a beloved rare game system (an NEC SuperGrafx) for sale. You can expect a bitter post about that.
Hmmm. Expected bills?
It looks like I have about $115 in bills due around the time of next week's dayday, with a $70 bill due afterwards. I'll probably try to take care of them all next Friday morning, so I haven't got to worry about them when Iceland comes around. Next Friday I'll get a (hopefully) unusually large Starbucks paycheck (thanks to Memorial Day), and a Sony check I'm estimating at $380. That means next week I won't have enough to pay back my family then, either. Hopefully I can get away with doing it in small amounts.
Upcoming costs:
- moving van
- new storage unit while in Iceland
- entrance fees for poetry/art contests I hope to enter
- camping supplies to save money on accommodation in Iceland
It's gonna be a fun one.

Can you sell/dispose of the stuff you have in storage? at least downsize? Just a thought.
Keep those dollars rolling in, you're doing great.
Camping, in an igloo?

But... I'll only be gone for about 5 weeks, and I'll need the usual items (stuff to sleep on, music equip, game setup, computer) and all that right away. I confess I have a lot of furniture that I've had since my infancy (literally) and I'm... for some reason rather sentimentally attached to it (nevermind lacking the income to buy *new* furniture if it turns out I need it).
Thanks for the encouragement!
